Pyla is the next village along from Oroklini and is the only village on the island that shares communities with both Turkish and Cypriot neighbours. It is about 2 miles from Oroklinii and is inland about 1 mile.

Pyla is about 25 minutes drive from Larnaca Airport. Dhekelia, where the most fabulous fish and chips can be had at CESSACS, is only 10 minutes away.

There are a number of nice bars and some very nice restaurants for you to enjoy. The Pyla Tavern is very popular and there are several local bars. Vlachos Tavern (see the Holiday Rentals page) is less than 10 miuntes from Pyla.

As a base for your holiday in Cyprus, Pyla is ideal. It is just a 30 minute drive from Ayia Napa, 1 hour from both Limassol and Nicosia. Allow 2 hours for a leisurely drive to Paphos.
